My Top 3 Sweet Food Finds In France – Kids Edition

Welcome everyone to my first blog post on this website! Today I’m going to share my top 3 food finds in France, so let’s begin!

Starting with number 1 is a viral gelato place in Provence called Amorino. This cute little gelato shop may look like a regular gelato store, but there’s something special about it , they serve the gelato shaped like a beautiful flower. Isn’t that cool?

They had so many flavors to choose from, like chocolate, strawberry, lemon, mango, raspberry, and many more. It was honestly hard to decide! My mom chose a chocolate and raspberry combo, and I picked mango and raspberry. Both were absolutely delicious.

The gelato was super creamy and refreshing, which made it perfect for a hot summer day in France. I also loved how pretty the flower shape looked — it almost felt too nice to eat!

I think this gelato shop is great for kids like me, because who doesn’t love sweet, yummy gelato? If you ever visit Provence, I definitely recommend stopping by Amorino and trying it for yourself.

Second on my list is a small madeleine shop in Provence called L’Atelier des Madeleines. This cute little shop is located right across from the Amorino gelato place I mentioned earlier, so it’s a perfect stop if you’re walking around the area and want something sweet.

This shop specializes in madeleines, which are small, fluffy French cakes that are soft and buttery. The madeleines here were warm, fresh, and baked perfectly. They had so many delicious flavors to choose from, including raspberry, peach, Nutella, lemon, and of course the classic original flavor.

What I loved most was how soft and fluffy they were on the inside. The outside had a light golden color, and when you took a bite, they tasted sweet, buttery, and freshly baked. It was hard to pick just one flavor because they all looked so good!

The shop itself is small and very charming, which makes it feel like a special little hidden spot. It’s also very kid-friendly, and it’s a fun place to visit if you enjoy trying sweet treats while traveling.

If you ever visit Provence, I definitely recommend stopping by L’Atelier des Madeleines. It’s a great place to try a classic French dessert and enjoy a delicious snack while exploring the town.

My third and final place on my list is Ladurée, a very famous and super yummy macaron shop. You can find Ladurée in many places around France, but we visited the one in Versailles.

Ladurée has some of the best macarons in the world, at least in my opinion. They are soft on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside, and there is a flavor for everyone. My top three favorite flavors were rose, salted caramel, and lemon. We ended up getting a box of eight macarons, and they were all amazing.

This macaron shop is a perfect spot for a quick and delicious treat, even though it can be a little pricey. Ladurée is also kid-friendly, and it’s a fun place to stop if you’re visiting Versailles.

If you’ve never tried a macaron before, this is your chance! If you are in Versailles, France, I definitely recommend visiting Ladurée.

That’s the wrap-up of my first ever blog post! I hope you enjoyed reading it and maybe discovered some places you might want to visit on your trip to France. See you in my next blog post!
